Hello everybody!
So.. we've gotta come up with some HP goals... by.. tuesday. that's what we agreed on with Dr. Uma right?
So..
to get the ball rolling I thought I'd just post this ...
So basically, our project is to evaluate the effectiveness of the program childline uses for the children they meet (the artbook-- we need to find out what the program is really called). The current plan is to develop a survey-- so we can measure their self esteem before and after the program is implemented. am i right?
So here are my suggestions for our HP goals-- not to be taken as is, but so we can start discussing and coming up with good ones (:
1. To measure the level of self-esteem in children in homes between the ages of 15-18
2. To identify the strengths and weaknesses of the (insert program name here)

But, im nt sure wat strengths and weaknesses should we identify..
let's go for something broad alright..? Measuring the level of self-esteem sounds good.. can we do like to analyse the mental health issues faced by children in homes.?
oh and activities to achieve these goals :1. Design and develop survey forms to gain data on levels of self esteem in these children

3. brainstorming how the program has benefitted the children, and how the program could be improved.
hmm analyse the mental health status... that sounds interesting, but i dont know how we will do it.. any ideas? we have to back it up with a plan on how we are going to do it.. let us know!
ReplyDeleteurm, im really not sure bout HP goals yet.. kinda done for the other 2.. i suggest we should bring the soft copy of our draft and meet up on mon at 10-11.?? since we have an empty slot thr.. we should discuss and come up wit an agreeable HP goals by then as well as standardized our FE goals.. then perhaps we can go c Dr Uma during lunch time to show her the soft copy.. then tuesday we can get Michelle to sign.. she should be ok with it, if Dr Uma is ok.. tht way we dun have to go back again to get her signature..

OK cool.. hey your plp right, i think its something wrong with the laws etc.cause i saw the sample dr uma gave us,and its more towards the rules we have to follow. not really about the whole child rights thing.
